Race through the wild, secluded forests of Wychwood at the stunning Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire.
Home of Wilderness Festival and in prestine condition, our 10K loop takes you into the magical wild woodlands of Cornbury Park.
With a 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon or the 360 (6-hour challenge), there is something for everyone.

Route Description
The race takes place on an awesome 10K loop on private trails within Cornbury Park.
The trails are good quality and very runnable whilst the surroundings are abundant with nature and wildlife.
Their are no huge hills but the route is undulating and allows you to flow nicely between the tougher uphill sections and the enjoyable rolling downs.
A mid-loop checkpoint will provide you with fluids and sugars to keep you going to the finish.

Aid stations
There is a mid-loop aid station situated at at 5.75km to the route. Those runner longer races will also have access to an aid station at the start/finish.

The event is proudly hosted at Cornbury Park, a country estate in the Cotswold near Charlbury in the heart of Oxfordshire.
Entry details
Registration starts from £30. Affiliated runners will recieve a £2 discount on their entry. Runners must be 16 or older to enter the 10K, 17 or older for the half, 18 or older for the marathon and over 20 for the 360 challenge.

How difficult is this race?
Our routes follows undulating off-road terrain on good quality footpaths. There are a few hills to climb and descend, but these are very short lived.
I'm worried about getting lost?
The route will be marked throughout with our orange signage, along with marshals at all the key turning points.
Where can toilets be found at this event?
There are fixed toilet facilities on site at Tewinbury.
How can I attend this event without a car?
Welwyn North train station is a short walk from Tewinbury and is served by regular trains from London.
What footwear should I wear at this race?
The route will be dry throughout but uneven in places. Trail running shoes are recommended.
What prizes are awarded at this event?
All participants will receive a finisher medal. There are awards for the top three male and female finishers overall. Age category awards will be presented to: U13 (5K), U15 (5K), U17 (5 & 10K), U20 (5 & 10K), FV40, MV40, FV50, MV50, FV60, MV60, FV70, MV70.
Withdrawal options
By entering our race, you agree to the following withdrawal policy. This policy applies to all runners with the exception of women of cannot compete due to pregnancy.
*Entrants to The Ridgeway Challenge are entitled to defer their entry for up to 2 years, or receive a 90% entry voucher to use on any Runaway Racing event.
Credits can be used on future race entries, any time during the following 2 years.
