Our end of season 10K trail running championship event at Wendover Woods.
The 2026 edition of the Runaway Racing Invitational 10K will take place on Sunday 6th December at Wendover Woods.
The race is open to all runners who finish within the top 20% at Runaway Racing events within 2026. To see a list of qualified runners, please scroll down.
Additionally, spaces are available to Runaway Racing event volutneers.

Entry is open to all qualified runners.

How do I qualify for this race?
The race is open to all runners who finish within the top 20% at Runaway Racing events within 2026, all age category winners and all event volunteers.
I'm worried about getting lost?
The route will be marked throughout with our signage, along with marshals at all the key turning points.
How can I attend this event without a car?
Wendover Train Station is the closest station. It is around 2.5km from the station to the start of the run.
What footwear should I wear at this race?
The route will be muddy, trail running shoes are essential.
What prizes are awarded at this event?
There will be an overall trophy for the first male and female along with awards for 2nd, 3rd and age category winners.
Withdrawal options
By entering our race, you agree to the following withdrawal policy. This policy applies to all runners with the exception of women of cannot compete due to pregnancy.
Credits can be used on future race entries, any time during the following 12 months.
Withdrawal requests must be completed online via our manage booking functionality.
