Runaway Racing is a company that provides runners with races, routes and social runs, and race organisers with an event timing system.

This policy applies to Runaway Adventures Limited. Any data collected will be solely owned by the company. You can contact us by clicking here.

What data do we collect?

When registering for a race or meetup we additionally collect your name, email address, phone number, sex, date of birth, nationality and medical information.

For products, such as t-shirts that require physical delivery, we will ask for a postal address.

We use Stripe to process your payment and do not capture or store your payment details ourselves.

What we do with that data?

We use this data to provide you with races, routes and social runs, and an event timing system. We will also process this data to inform you about races, events and products that are likely to be of interest to you.

Entrants to our running races will have their names appear on our leaderboard and results pages for that event.

How we store that data

We store all data in compliance with GDPR. Your data is never shared with any other companies unless we have received your explicit permission to do so.

Emails and Marketing

When registering for an event, race or purchasing a product you will receive a number of transactional emails that are directly related to that purchase. These may include payment receipts, event information and important updates/changes.

You will also receive marketing emails about races, events and products that may be of interest to you, if you decide you want to stop receiving these emails there is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of each communication.

If you want to exercise your right to erasure please contact hello@runawayracing.com and we will delete all relevant data.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
